Hendy Street was invited to film the multi disciplinary performance of "The Invisibility Project". This poetry and dance piece is an exploration of how current residents of Wilmington, NC perceive each other when interacting across race lines in the wake of the Coup d'etat of 1898. Dancers; Cedric Turner, Qaadir Hicks, Kylah Thorpe, Amanda Cordova, McCall White, & Brittany Patterson, flow through and around the backdrop of ancient cypress trees and Spanish moss as the words of Khalisa Rae Williams resonate through the performance.

We were honored to help bring this unique performance to screens around the world. Working with dynamic movement and poignant language of Khalisa was an impactful experience. We look forward to revealing “The Invisibility Project” set to screen at University of North Carolina at Wilmington November 2020.
