This February, our team visited The NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher for a multi-day shoot to raise funds for their new expansion.

This project was exciting to work on, and it was for a great cause! The shoot was specifically geared towards raising money for the aquarium's new addition, which will provide more space for education and conservation. It was important to us to convey the message that the new addition would provide a vital space for these efforts. We worked closely with the aquarium's team members to ensure that we captured the essence of the aquarium and its mission. With the addition of this new space, they will be able to continue their important work and inspire future generations to protect our oceans and aquatic life. We are proud to have played a small role in their mission and are excited to show you our final product after editing! We encourage everyone to visit the Fort Fisher Aquarium and see the amazing work they are doing firsthand!

We had the pleasure of interviewing folks from the North Carolina Aquarium Society as well as some of the Fort Fisher Aquarium staff. Throughout the interviews, they emphasize all the work that goes in to operating the aquarium and how thankful they are to the community for supporting and visiting the aquarium for so long. They ask for further support toward the upcoming $55 million renovation to provide a new space that will welcome school groups, families, private rental groups, and more to showcase the coastal environment and its aquatic life.

During the shoot, we were able to play with underwater video with an underwater housing. It assisted us in capturing shots of the touch tank and the Cape Fear Shoals habitat. The stingrays and sharks were happy to allow us into their enclosures for some close-up shots and we are very grateful for the aquarium crew for making sure we were capturing this content safely. A big shoutout to Summit Camera in Raleigh for joining our crew! They did an amazing job and we love working with them!

Our actor and actress made a very convincing grandfather-granddaughter duo! Thank you to Eric and Daisy for bringing our concept to life!
