The Hendy Street crew got to plant our boots on the sand at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher for their official groundbreaking ceremony, kicking off a transformation that's about to make it the biggest aquarium in the state. It was a milestone for Kure Beach, for Wilmington, and for everybody who calls this stretch of coast home.

ILM needed additional creative for football season. The budget was tight, really tight. A traditional production at the quality bar we wanted would have eaten the entire spend and left nothing for media. So we asked a simple question.

What if we challenged ourselves to make a Super Bowl caliber spot on a fraction of the usual cost?

For the second day, we traveled out to IKA's farm location for one final employee interview, this time with the subject on horseback. Different kind of setup, and a good reminder that production keeps you on your toes. I helped unpack and build out the gear, slated the interview, grabbed some behind-the-scenes photos, and jumped in wherever the day called for it. One of those days that proves no two shoots ever look the same.
